About my relationship to food and my goals

I used to be very addicted to food, specifically refined sugar and flour, but unluckily or luckily for me I got really sick with a digestive disorder and almost ended up living with a colostomy bag for the rest of my life.
Before that happened I found that quitting gluten, refined sugar, and reducing lactose in addition to cutting out some scary things like MSG and other preservatives helped my illness improve intensely. So I am on a very restricive diet for life or risk pooping in a bag.
Ive been on this diet for about a year and sure enough every time i screw up my food, i start to get sick and take weeks to heal.
I have also gained about 10 lbs over what I’d like because I dont eat enough lean proteins like fish, beans etc. I eat way too much cheese, nuts, potatoes etc. I want to try to eat healthyier.

I also want to track my exercise-would love an exercise buddy. I am a teacher and I always get motivated to exercise over the summer and then never am able to make time over the school year.
